Registration information


SCCS2011 has a three-step secure registration system:

The 1st step is to register your e-mail address and give your selected password. After doing so you may sign on and continue the procedure.

The 2nd step ("pre-registration") involves including your personal details. This step is necessary if you would like to submit your abstract. If your affiliation is not in the database yet, please press "Add affiliation" and enter the data in that sheet.

In the 3rd step, please select your registration category and, if it is the case, additional optional fees. After completing this stage, you will be notified as becoming "Registered".

Payment can be completed separately, in a subsequent stage, from the "Registration" page. Online hotel reservation is also possible for those who selected the registration category.

Limited financial assistance may be available to students upon application, depending on sponsorship.

Registration fee for congress participants covers:

  • Participation in the scientific programme
  • Book of Abstracts
  • Conference bag with conference materials
  • Welcome reception (AC)
  • Coffee breaks (AC)
  • Lunch from Monday to Friday (AC)
  • Conference excursion (AC)
(AC): included in the registration fee for accompanying persons.

Registrations will be acknowledged in writing. Official invoices and receipts for fees paid by the participants will be handed over on site upon registration. On site, registration fees and optional programmes can be paid in cash in convertible currency or in Hungarian Forint. Besides, credit cards listed above will be accepted. The organisers regret that cheques cannot be accepted. They should be cashed at the banks.

Terms and conditions of participation

Advanced online registration is a condition of participation in the conference. During the online registration you should accept the terms and conditions of participation as well as the terms of cancellation written on this website. The registration fee/accompanying person's registration fee includes entertainment allowances, such as catering services, reception, excursion,etc. In the final invoice the amount of these services will be indicated as intermediary service. Hotel accommodation orders (if any) are also subject of intermediary service.

Registration fee

In case of cancellation of registration received till 15 June 2011, the refund is 100%.
From 15 to 30 June 2011, the refund is 50%.
No refund is possible for cancellations submitted on or after 1 July 2011.

Hotel accommodation

In case of cancellation of hotel reservation received till 15 June 2011, the refund is 100%.
If received between 15 and 30 June 2011, the prepaid hotel deposit will be kept and the rest of the payment will be refunded. 
No guaranteed refund is possible for cancellations submitted on or after 1 July 2011.
